Invitation to authors
Contribute to the Congress proceedings
Authors are invited to submit an Extended Abstract of up to 1000 words, with a maximum of two figures or tables. Submissions will be reviewed for oral or poster presentation. Accepted papers will be published in the Congress proceedings bearing an ISBN.
Presenting authors must complete registration for the 41st Indian Engineering Congress to confirm their place in the technical programme.

Author Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to prepare a clear, review-ready submission aligned with the Congress theme.
Submissions should address Applied AI for Sustainable Development within one or more of IEI’s fifteen engineering divisions. Clearly state the problem, the AI or computational approach, and the sustainability or developmental impact.
Limit the extended abstract to 1000 words. Include title, author names and affiliations, keywords, and a structured narrative (background, methods, key results, conclusions). Use a maximum of two figures or tables in total.
All submissions are reviewed for suitability for oral or poster presentation. Acceptance of the synopsis does not replace the requirement to submit the full paper by the stated deadline.
Accepted full papers will be published in the Congress proceedings with an ISBN. Authors are responsible for originality, permissions for figures, and adherence to ethical research standards.
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the 41st IEC and present at the scheduled session. Papers without a registered presenting author may be withdrawn from the programme.
